ZDRUŽBA BUKVE IN REBRENJAČE
Blechno–Fagetum I. Horvat ex Marinček 1970
Matično podlago gradijo paleozoiske kamnine, pretežno skrilavi glinavci, peščenjaki in breče. Na njih so pretežno srednje globoka do globoka distrična rjava tla; rankerji so jim podrejeni. Diagnostična kombinacija rastlinskih vrst Zaradi intenzivnega izkoriščanja gozdov so mnogi spremenjeni v drugotne gozdove tipa Leucobryo-Quercetum petraeae, Calluno-Quercetum petraeae in drugotne gozdove rdečega bora (Vaccinio-Pinetum s. lat.). Velika večina gozdov je zaradi dolgoletnega steljarjenja slabe kakovosti. Prevladujejo panjevci nad semenovci, ponekod so monokulture smreke. Dobro ohranjeni kakovostni gozdovi so se ohranili predvsem v osojnih legah, koder je gozdarski interes prevladoval nad kmetijskim. Združbo bukve in rebrenjače uvrščamo v zvezo Quercion roboris-petraeae. |
The Blechno–Fagetum is an azonal forest association mainly found in the central part of Slovenia. It thrives at an altitude of 300 to 900 meters, particularly on gently inclined slopes and gentle ridges that reach an inclination of up to 40 % only in places. The forest association grows in all aspects; however, they are most frequently found on shady slopes where the soil and air humidity conditions are more favourable. The bedrock is composed of Paleozoic mostly Permian sandstone, particularly clayey shale, sandstone, and breccia. They are followed by mostly medium deep to deep dystric Cambisol where dystric Leptosol are subordinate. Diagnostic combination of plant species Due to the extensive exploitation of the forests, many have changed into secondary forests of the Leucobryo–Quercetum petraeae, the Calluno–Quercetum petraeae, and secondary forests of the Vaccinio–Pinetum s. lat. The majority of the forests are of inferior quality due to the collection of litter for many years. Coppiced forests predominate over seed source trees, and monocultural spruce stands are found here and there. Good quality forests are well preserved, particularly on shady locations where silvicultural interests are stronger than agricultural interests. The Blechno–Fagetum is classified in the alliance Quercion robori–petraeae. |
