ZDRUŽBA DOLGOPECLJATEGA BRESTA IN DOBA
Querco roboris-Ulmetum laevis Issler 1926
To so tipični obrečni gozdovi, kjer so zaradi obsežnih melioracij sadili različne vrste jesena. Diagnostična kombinacija rastlinskih vrst V sestojih so dobro razvite drevesna, grmovna in zeliščna plast. Preostali gozdovi pa so le ponekod dobro ohranjeni. Združbo dolgopecljatega bresta in doba uvrščamo v zvezo Alnion incanae. |
From the ecological and spatial point of view, this association is placed between the Salicetum albae and the Piceo–Quercetum roboris. In this association, there is no evident soil profile. The most important characteristics are strong accumulation of humus in the upper part of soil profile and predomination of the fine mineral particles. In these stands, the underground water is lower than with the association of white willow. These are typical riparian forests where different ash tree species were planted due to substantial soil improvements. Diagnostic combination of plant species Tree, shrub, and herb layers are well developed in these stands. Among herbs, there are high stalk plants, while numerous geophytes are found in the spring (Allium ursinum, Corydalis cava, C. solida, Galanthus nivalis, and others). Moister sites are populated by numerous hygrophile herbs (Caltha palustris, Carex remota, Ranunculus repens, etc.). The moss layer is less developed. Many forests have been felled for agricultural reasons. The remaining forests have been well preserved only in some places. On drier sites of this association, false acacia (Robina pseudacacia) predominates. The Querco–Ulmetum laevis is classified in the alliance Alnion incanae. |
